Is it just me, or were the 2015 Golden Globes really boring? I think it’s because there wasn’t enough Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. When predicting last year’s Golden Globe winners, I’d seen almost every film on the list, so I was fairly confident in my choices. This year, I still need to see half of the films (thanks to release timing), so my confidence in predicting winners is basically nonexistent. But whatever. All right. Golden Globes. There were a lot of weird moments, like Jacqueline Bisset’s drunken speech, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ spotlight hogging, and Jonah Hill and Margot Robbie’s teleprompter fail. Yesterday, the SAG nominations came out, and they looked pretty good. Today, the Golden Globes (the redheaded stepchild of awards season) nominations came out. To be honest, there aren’t a lot of huge surprises here, so they’re not that exciting. But hey, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are back hosting this year!
