For a movie that makes such an effort to poke fun at lame corporate office culture, it’s almost ironic how Office Christmas Party manages to throw a party that’s equally as dull. It’s a movie based on a simple premise (i.e., an out-of-control office party) with a seasoned cast of comedians at its disposal, yet it somehow stumbles all over itself. Remember the Deadpool test footage that got “leaked” in 2014? If you enjoyed that, you will enjoy Deadpool. Hell, the opening sequence from this movie (which follows the tongue-in-cheek opening credits that list “A Hot Chick,” “A British Villain,” “A CGI Character,” and “A Gratuitous Cameo” as roles) is almost frame for frame that footage. Transformers: Age of Extinction Needs to Die
After the fight between the Autobots and Decepticons leveled Chicago, the U.S. government no longer wants transformers in their country, let alone on the planet. Led by Harold Attinger (Kelsey Grammar) of the CIA, a strike team called “Cemetery Wind” hunts down and kills the remaining Autobots with the help of bounty hunter, Lockdown (voiced by Mark Ryan). But Optimus Prime manages to escape and hide out in Paris, Texas, where he meets Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg), a failed robotics inventor, and his daughter, Tessa (Nicola Peltz).
